I have just started reading it but it’s one of those books that you just can’t put down!!!
Here’s a teaser from Booklist – Nine years after the events chronicled in The Deal (2008), Jonah Gray, the fugitive real-estate broker who’s been living in Europe with a new face and a new name, prepares to return to New York City. He has three days to find out the truth about some rare Faberge Easter eggs, clear his name of a bogus murder charge (yes, he did kill the cop, but it was an accident), and track down the love of his life, Perry York, who recently went missing with her young son. (Was she abducted by her embittered husband, or has someone taken Perry as a way of sending a message to Jonah?) This is an exciting follow-up to The Deal. Gittlin does a very nice job of bringing readers up to speed and filling in the gaps between the two books. A third Jonah Gray novel is in the works, and that’s a good thing, since there are a lot of ends left loose at the conclusion of this one. –David Pitt
