Lasagna Pie
Servings 6

Ingredients
14.5 ounce can tomato sauce
½ teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
¼ cup fresh parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
2/3 cup part skim ricotta
¼ cup Parmesan, shredded
1 pound ground beef
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup Wildtree Buttermilk Pancakes
½ cup milk

Method of Preparation
Preheat oven to 475°F. Combine tomato sauce, basil, oregano, parsley, and garlic to a saucepan. Season with salt and pepper if desired. Cover and cook over medium low heat for about 20 minutes to allow flavors to develop. Mix together ricotta and Parmesan; spread into the bottom of a lightly greased pie dish. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium high, add the ground beef and cook until browned and cooked through; drain. Stir in ½ cup mozzarella and 1cup prepared tomato sauce. (Reserve remaining sauce for serving). Spread mixture over the top of the Parmesan in the pie dish. Combine the Pancake mix and milk until blended. Spread mixture over top of ground beef in pie dish. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Top crust with remaining ½ cup mozzarella cheese. Bake for another few minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve lasagna pie with leftover sauce and a side salad if desired.

*Note: 2 teaspoons Wildtree Hearty Spaghetti Sauce Blend can be substituted for basil, oregano, parsley, and garlic in tomato sauce.

Easy Taco Soup

Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
3 cups Wildtree Beef Bouillon Soup Base, prepared according to package directions
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
½ cup Wildtree Taco Sauce
1 (15.5 ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 cup corn
1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes with chilies

Method of Preparation
Heat a large stock pot over medium high heat. Add ground beef and cook until completely browned and cooked through. Drain beef and set aside. In the now empty pot whisk together the Beef Bouillon, tomato paste, and Taco Sauce. Return beef to pan along with beans, corn, and diced tomatoes. Cook over medium heat until heated through, about 10 minutes. Serve with desired toppings (shredded cheese, sour cream, cilantro, scallions, shredded lettuce, tortilla chips, etc.)

Slow Cooker Ground Beef Lasagna Soup

Is it a Pasta?!?! Is it a soup?!?!? Or is is just AWESOME?!?!

Slow Cooker Ground Beef Lasagna Soup is great for a weeknight meal. You’ll be a hit with this one!

1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
10 3/4 oz. tomato soup, canned, condensed
14.5 oz. tomatoes, canned, petite diced
15 oz. tomato sauce, canned
2 chicken bouillon cubes
2 beef bouillon cubes
4 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. parsley
2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 oz. Ricotta Cheese
8 lasagna noodles, broken into small pieces – UNCOOKED
12 oz. Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Combine onions, tomato soup, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce and place in the slow cooker.
Add all of the spices and bouillon cubes to the slow cooker.
Add water and spread your broken UNCOOKED lasagna noodle pieces all around.
Crumble RAW ground beef over top.
Cover. Cook on Low for 7-8 hours or on High for 4-5 hours.
Approximately half hour or so before done, stir in the Ricotta cheese.
Serve with shredded Mozzarella Cheese on top and savor the taste!

MIRACLE MEATLOAF – AMAZING CROCKPOT MEAL
INGREDIENTS

2lbs extra lean ground beef
1lbs pork sausage
2 eggs
1/2 cup of milk
1 cup cracker crumbs
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 medium onion diced

DIRECTIONS

Add all ingredients in large bowl and mix until well combined. Spray the inside of your crockpot with pam spray. Place meat mixture in crocpot forming a “loaf”. Wrap potatoes in foil and place around meatloaf, as pictured.

Set your crockpot to low for 8-10 hours.

SUPER SIMPLE!!!

Chimichangas

Ingredients
8oz pkg. cream cheese
8oz. Pepperjack cheese, shredded
1 1/2 Tbsp. taco seasoning
2 lb ground beef, fried up
20 mini flour tortillas shells
cooking spray
shredded cheddar cheese
Garnish options:
sour cream
salsa

Directions
Mix in bowl cream cheese, pepperjack cheese, and taco seasoning. Add drained ground beef and thoroughly mix together.

Spray pan with cooking spray.

Divide among tortillas.

Tuck in sides, and roll up each tortilla.
Lay seam side down in a sprayed 9×13″ baking dish.
Spray tops of tortillas with cooking spray.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
Turn chimi’s over, and bake an additional 15 minutes.

White cheese sauce

Ingredients
1 pound white American cheese, cubed
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter
1 small can rotel diced tomatoes w/green chili

Directions
Add cheese, milk, tomatoes and butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook until cheese has melted, stirring frequently. Heat through and serve immediately.

**Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs***

Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork or mild Italian sausage
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 TBSP Italian seasoning
3 eggs
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 lb mozzarella, cut into cubes
Wildtree Grapeseed Oil
Marinara (jar or homemade)

Directions:
In a large bowl mix beef through pepper. Form into 2″ balls. Press a cheese cube in the middle and seal the meat around it.
Heat 1/2″ olive oil in a large skillet. Brown meatballs and then set aside on plate.

Pour marinara sauce into pan; bring to a simmer. Add meatballs and simmer until cooked through, about 30 minutes.

Patty’s Meatloaf

This is a recipe that my Mom used to make all the time when we were kids. I tweaked it a little but still delicious!

Patty’s Meatloaf

1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb Bob Evans sage sausage
3 bread slices
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
¼ cup minced onion
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp celery salt
¼ tsp dry mustard
¼ tsp sage (may need to cut in half, depending on taste)
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Mix ingredients. Spread in ungreased loaf pan 9x5x3
Top with ketchup if desired.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 ½ hours.

Pepper N Onion Sausage

Pepper n Onion Sausage

Total cook time: 20 minutes
Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

1 lb beef, turkey, kielbasa, chicken smoked sausage
1 chopped green pepper
1 chopped onion
1 can of Rotel tomatoes w/green chillies
cooking spray

Directions:

Spray pan with cooking spray. Slice sausage, cut onions and green peppers and saute in pan. Cook until green pepper is tender to your consistency and onions are translucent. Add tomatoes with green chilies and simmer. Serve over white rice or noodles if preferred.
