Method of Preparation
Heat Grapeseed Oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 8 minutes. Add the carrot, celery, and scallions. Cook for 2 minutes more. Add the grated ginger and cabbage; cook until cabbage is just softened, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and cool slightly. Add the ground pork and Hoisin Sauce, toss to combine. Place 1-2 teaspoons of the filling into the middle of each wonton wrapper and then wet the edges with water. You can make the dumpling shape however you wish. Make it into an egg roll shape, crab rangoon shape, wonton shape, whatever you like. Be sure to pinch the edges well, securing any holes where filing could leak out. Bring the Vegetable Bouillon to a simmer. Working in batches if necessary, cook the dumplings in the Bouillon for about 5 minutes or until the pork is cooked through. Serve the dumplings in bowls with some of the cooking liquid or with extra Hoisin Sauce for dipping.
