The Most Common Diet Mistake



To achieve dietary success, you need a well-defined goal! I’m often amazed to see how many people begin a diet program with no real goal in mind. You may be thinking “Yeah, yeah, I already have goals,” but do you really?

Frankly, I’ll be the first to tell you that if your goal is something like “I want to lose some weight” or “I want to be thinner,” then you might as well throw in the towel before you even step in the ring.

These types of ambiguous goals aren’t motivating in any way, shape or form.

If you really want to set yourself up for success, you need to give yourself something quantifiable to shoot for.

“I want to lose 20 pounds” is an ideal goal, while “I want to lose 20 pounds in 10 weeks” is even better.

At the same time, make sure your goals are realistic. The perfect goal is one that is challenging without being too farfetched.
