Yep, you read that right… Spring Break. As a parent, you either look forward to it or dread it. I look forward to it because I get one week with my kids with no school, no homework, just us. It’s a little earlier this year than usual. Hopefully, the weather decides to cooperate so we can get outside to play.
It’s going to be make or break this year. The kids will either get along or be fighting like cats and dogs. So far, not good. I woke this morning at 7 am (yes, SEVEN AM) to the sound of the yelling. *sigh* Â I love my kids, I love my kids, I love my kids. So I book out of bed, grab my glasses and break up the fight. Dosed Cody with his medications and had him paint his feet with the essential oil blend I created for him. Everyone is calm now.
We are planning a fairy garden with a Celtic theme. My husband has built a stand for the garden and will be making the container out of cedar. We have a few Celtic pieces already, along with a tree spirit. I had not found a fairy house that I liked, so we visited the local ceramic shop and bought a tree house, which I am in the process of painting. In the background, you can see a barrel which I painted to be used as a planter for in the garden.
We also found a Father Christmas, which my husband painted to look like a Druid.
Hopefully, I can get the kids busy with helping to prep the garden for the residents. Wish me luck, folks!
