Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited – What a deal!

I received an email the other day from Amazon which talked about getting unlimited access to over 600,000 ebooks and thousands of audio books. I’m a skeptic and said “yeah, and how much is THAT going to cost?”

I have an Amazon Prime membership that cost me $79 for a year and while it has paid for itself over and over with the free 2-day shipping that Prime members get, I just can’t justify paying $99 when it comes up for renewal. But I like that Prime members get one free book monthly and can “borrow” books from the Amazon Lending Library, not to mention the free Instant Videos and Prime Music. I haven’t used it for the videos or music yet. I took advantage of the 30-day free trial offer and just let it roll into a paid membership. But $100 in one lump is pretty hard to swallow when you’re on a tight budget like we are.

So I clicked the link in the email and was really shocked. In a good way.

Amazon is offering a 30-day free trial of their Kindle Unlimited program. So they are letting you kick the tires before paying for it. Pretty cool, right? After 30 days, the subscription price is only $9.99 a month. Now if you’re an avid reader like me, this is an killer deal! I carry my Kindle everywhere with me and can easily burn through a book in a matter of days. I have over 1,000 books on my Kindle, waiting to be read. You can use this program for all Kindle devices and anywhere you use the Kindle app, whether it’s Apple IOS or Android.

Most ebooks cost anywhere from $3 all the way up to $12 or $13. So it’s really going to save you money! And many popular books are included in the freebies through this program. As I was checking it out, I saw kids’ books, biographies, self-improvement books, classics, even current popular series!

I highly recommend checking out Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited!
