Creamy Chicken Tortellini Soup! 🐔 🍽
4 small cans of precooked chicken, drained OR 1 lb. Of chicken breasts, cubed
4 10.5-oz. cans of cream of chicken soup
2 14.5-oz. cans of chicken broth
32 oz. Half and half
Frozen Tortellinis (approx. 18 oz.)
In soup pot, add a tablespoon of your favorite cooking oil. I used Tastefully Simple’s Garlic Infused Cooking Oil. Turn heat on medium. Add your drained chicken. Season to taste. I use garlic powder, black pepper, sage, Italian seasoning. Brown precooked chicken for about 10 minutes. Cubed breast meat will take longer, cook til no longer pink in the center.
Add cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and half and half. Stir well. Add Tortellinis and bring to a boil. Stir every few minutes. You want the tortellinis to be cooked and firm to the bite, not mooshy (my word, you can’t use it. Lol)
Top with black pepper, shredded cheese of choice and seasoning. Enjoy with your favorite bread!
