Clear out diet-wrecking treats and snacks from your cupboards, freezer and fridge, and donâ€™t allow yourself to keep a secret stash or special â€œtreat drawer.â€Â
This means frozen cookie dough, cans of Cheez Whiz, jars of hot fudge, packages of cookies or chips, and anything else that makes you go ga-ga and forget all of the good reasons youâ€™re working so hard to lose weight in the first place.Â
This is not to say you can never have any of your favorite tempting foods.Â
On the contrary, a healthy diet allows for extravagances now and again. However, having these indulgences too close to your fingertips spells dieting disaster, especially if youâ€™re at home all day.Â
Keeping temptations out of the house means youâ€™ll know if youâ€™re really ready to splurge, or just experiencing temporary insanity.
